This moderately easy composition for 2 equal voices and piano, combines a poignant text by Lancelot Andrewes with the beloved English folk melody, O Waly Waly. This setting is suitable for school, community and church choirs, and works well with treble or mixed voices. The lilting piano accompaniment and singable melodies lend the piece to being performed by small groups. It even works well as a vocal duet.
